Graham Borwell

Graham, an opening batsman, was a member of Ashford's highly successful first team in the 1970s and 1980s. A PE teacher in his Ashford days, Graham emigrated to Avignon with his French-born wife and two sons a decade ago. He has not enjoyed the best of health in recent years and all at the club wish him steady progress towards a return to the fitness levels of his tracksuit days. John Broven

John Broven, a Life Vice President and former player, has completed the manuscript of a history of rock and roll. The title is: "Record Makers and Breakers: A Narrative History of the Rock 'n' Roll Pioneers" (University of Illinois Press). There's a fairly long lead in time to Autumn 2008, the publication date.
