Additional Match - U15 Cup vs Old Stacians, Friday 18th May

Ashford won the toss and decided to bat on a damp bowler-friendly pitch. Old Stacians got off to a good start despite an excellent spell of fast bowling from Lucas Anglian, who was very unlucky not to take wickets. He consistently beat the edge of the bat. 

After five overs the score was 36-0. The spinners came on to bowl and wreaked havoc. Ryan Knight, Alistair Neale and Ben Eastwell ripped through the team, and with a run out from brilliant piece of fielding by David Foad, Old Stacians were reduced to a poor 44 all out in 15.3 overs.

Ashford replied with Alistair Neale (16*) and Simon Berry (15*) ending up 45 for 0 in 5 overs for a very professional 10- wicket win.
