Subject : Best wishes from Wye

Just checked out the website and all your latest news and would just like on behalf of Wye CC wish you and everyone involved at Ashford Town CC all the best with the new club. It is vitally important to cricket in our area that the town club is strong and the future looks good now this has been resolved. We at little old Wye continue to put out competitive sides, although the last few seasons have been tough, we feel confident that things are on the up for us again in 2008. We have always enjoyed close links with yourselves and hope that these will continue, several of your past masters are still starring at Wye so feel free to release anymore in our direction!!! J

Good luck again to everyone for 2008 and hope to see you all soon, there is a friendly fixture pencilled in for late April, we look forward to that

Dicky, Thank you for your kind remarks and good wishes. It has always been important for all clubs in the area to work closely together, none more so than now, when club sides all over the country are under pressure in their attempts to keep the great game going.

Very pleased to hear Wye are looking strong for the 2008 season. A great village with a remarkable cricket club.
