Ashford Cricket Club

Ashford Cricket Club is a founder member of the Kent League. The senior members field 3 Saturday teams in the Kent League, a Sunday team and a midweek team.

We also have a thriving Colts section. The Ashford Colts were extremely successful last season in winning the District U16, U14 and U12 leagues, and will be challenging to retain their trophies again this season.

This year we have expanded even further to run a total of six teams : an U16 side in the District U16 league, two U14 sides (the Ashford Dragons and the Ashford Bears) in the District U14 league, two U12 sides (also the Ashford Dragons and the Ashford Bears) in the District U12 league and an U9's side (the Ashford Tigers).

This year’s Colts subscription is £45 for the season. This enables Colts to come along to the Sunday morning 'Academy' (from 29th April through to the end of August) to receive quality coaching from ECB-accredited coaches, under the watchful eye of Peter Moralee, Ashford and District Development Officer.

Colts Membership is open to any players aged between 4-16 years as at 1st September the previous year. Colts may register by attending the Registration Morning on 22nd April, or on any subsequent Sunday during the season at the Club between 10am and 12:30pm (see "News" link).

There is of course the chance for any player to graduate into the senior Kent League teams if they prove their ability.
